You How Hello and welcome to co regulation Conversations. I'm Sarah histand, and this is my new project, a very emergent place for playing with taking care of our selves, our nervous system, our communities and each other through the modality of a podcast where we can practice some of these concepts, learn about the nuances of them and the many different ways. We can connect with them, apply them to our daily lives, to our all of the different challenges in our lives, whether it's family, relationship, work, making the world a place that we want to be a part of, and that we're proud to give to the next generation. There is a lot on our plates these days in the modern world, and in a lot of ways, our nervous systems are caught in like the evolutionary place that they have been for a long time, but the modern world has moved really quickly into a different place, and it's time to help our systems update and come along with us into the ability to find safety and regulation and connection And okayness in the world that we find ourselves in. So I do a lot of that personally through nature. You might as well. I'm going to be recording a lot of these while I'm outside, walking like I am right now, and I invite you to join me, whether you want to come on a walk with me, or, you know, be tasking, taking care of chores, driving, you know, whatever you find yourself doing, I'll invite you to join me in landing safety in your body, finding co regulation and using this podcast As a place to grow the skills that we need for surviving, yes, but also thriving and being the anchor for the people in our lives, kids in our lives, the people we're in community with, but Not in an over giving way, in a way that also takes care of yourself and your own nervous system needs. So let's talk about all of that inside of this place. I look forward to introducing you to some of my mentors who have helped me transform my nervous system over the last few years and to also sharing a bunch of solo episodes where I'm telling my own stories and showing some examples of ways we can take care of ourselves and practice in real time here In a podcast. Oh my gosh, I'm here walking, and there are some really cool birds, and I'm going to take a picture of them and have that on the website page, if you want to see what I'm finding here on my walk. This is really cool. Wow. Okay, amazing. Let me wrap this up here for a short little trailer. I look forward to seeing you and having conversations here asynchronously and this podcast modality, until next time, take really good care of yourself and each other. You.
