Winter Wildlands Alliance

Winter Wildlands Alliance is a national nonprofit organization working to inspire and empower people to protect America’s wild snowscapes. This free workout is being provided exclusively to WWA members and potential members. 

 

We're excited to be partnering with Winter Wildlands Alliance and look forward to supporting you if it feels like a good fit!  

At Mind & Mountain, we provide online training to build functional strength for outdoor recreation. Our programs help you cross-train from your living room so your outdoor adventures are more fun and you are less prone to injury. 

Our programs are all based on Mindful Interval Training and can be done anywhere with internet access. 

Ski Babes - offered from mid-October to late Feb/early March. Ski Babes focuses on building function strength for skiing, snowboarding, nordic, ice skating, and all of your other favorite winter sports! 

Balance Training - Balance Training is our lower intensity program that focuses on building balance and stability in both mind & body. Balance Training is offered year-round.

Summer Strong - offered from mid-April to the beginning of September. Summer Strong is based on moves that will get you ready for hiking, paddling, biking... the list goes on!

Hi, I'm Sarah

I'll be your guide for this pre-season winter workout. I'm a personal trainer, mental health counselor, and outdoor adventurer from Alaska. I've traveled thousands of miles on foot, skis, skates, & packrafts, and I'm passionate about helping outdoor recreation become more accessible & inclusive for all. 

I'm excited to help you build the mind & body strength you need for your winter adventures this year, whether they're big & bold or mindfully local.  My workout style is down-to-earth, body-positive, and lighthearted, with options for all fitness levels. I hope you join us!
